Deadly infinifilm DVD Features
The Final Destination 2 infinifilm DVD features widescreen (1.85:01) and fullscreen versions of the film, filmmaker commentary with Director David Ellis, Screenwriters Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber, and Producer Craig Perry as well as deleted and alternate scenes, theatrical trailers, two music videos and a Fact Track (a subtitle trivia track). The DVD also contains three documentaries; “The Terror Gauge,” that studies the effects of fear and distress on audience members, measuring their reactions to the mayhem on screen, “Cheating Death: Beyond and Back” a documentary examining people and their near death experiences, and “Bits and Pieces: Bringing Death to Life,” a behind-the scenes production featurette on the visual effects. There are also animated menus, 5.1 Dolby Digital EX Surround Sound, DTS ES 6.1 Surround Sound, stereo surround sound and closed captions. The DVD-ROM content includes the “Script-To-Screen” screenplay feature, a link to the film’s original website and a link to the infinifilm.com website featuring content exclusive to DVD-ROM users. Exclusive online DVD content also includes wallpapers and the “Chain Reaction” adventure activity.

In addition to the special added-value supplemental material on the DVD, the infinifilm brand promises “beyond- the- movie” content that can be accessed through pop-up navigation menus while watching the film. This feature offers viewers more control of their movie watching experience as well as user friendly instructions and navigation.

Cast and Crew Takes Viewers on a Roller Coaster Ride
Directed by David Ellis (the noted second-unit action director whose credits include Harry Potter, The Perfect Storm and Matrix Reloaded), the film is produced by franchise producers Warren Zide and Craig Perry (American Pie, Cats and Dogs). In addition to Cook and Larter, the film also stars horror genre veteran Tony Todd (Candyman) from the first film, as well as Michael Landes (Special Unit II, Hart’s War), James Kirk (Once Upon A Christmas), David Paetkau (Duets), Keegan Connor Tracy (40 Days and 40 Nights), Jonathan Cherry (Wes Craven Presents: They), Lynda Boyd (I Spy), Sarah Carter (TV’s “Dark Angel”) and T.C. Carson (U-571, Nature Boy).
