Sci-Fi Altered Dog Tale Stars Ally Sheedy and Lance Henriksen Los Angeles (May 5, 2003) New Line Home Entertainment today announced the DVD release of the sci-fi horror film Man’s Best Friend available for the first time on DVD for $19.98 on August 5. In Man’s Best Friend, starring Ally Sheedy (High Art, The Breakfast Club) and Lance Henriksen (Scream 3, Aliens) a genetically altered guard dog is rescued from a research lab; but this canine has an unquenchable thirst for blood and proves to be an unstoppable and ferocious killer. This film is currently available on VHS. The DVD 9 includes the widescreen (1.85:1) and fullscreen version of the film, 5.1 Surround Sound, Stereo Surround Sound, English subtitles, closed captions and animated menus. The DVD also features the original theatrical trailer as well as trailers from other New Line Home Entertainment films. |
