What happens when your lies suddenly come true?

Full of It tells the comedic story of Sam Leonard (Ryan Pinkston), a 17-year-old who has been uprooted from one town to another his entire life. Shy, lonely, and a bit of a nerd who is as crazy about math as he is the Beach Boys, Sam is beginning his senior year at yet another new school. He desperately wants to fit in at Bridgeport High, but things get off to a dismal start when he becomes the brunt of a cruel joke led by ‘cool kid’ Kyle Plunkett (Joshua Close).

Already feeling crushed and defeated on his very first day, Sam decides to seek the advice of the school’s guidance counselor (Craig Kilborn). Jaded and indifferent, the counselor tells Sam to lie about everything – who he is, where he’s from, what he’s capable of – in order to fit in and be a winner. The impressionable Sam figures he has nothing to lose, and embraces this bad advice.

At first, he is hesitant to lie. After all, his upstanding parents (John Carroll Lynch and Cynthia Stevenson) have raised him to always tell the truth. So at first he begins slowly telling harmless lies to impress fellow students. When he starts to see positive results, the lies become habitual, eventually becoming more elaborate and outrageous.

Then one day, for some reason the tall tales start to come true. Sam unexpectedly finds himself becoming the big man on campus and facing a whole new set of problems that he never bargained for. The result is a hilarious, fresh new spin on the timeless and universal message of honesty being the best policy.

Full of It, a New Line Cinema presentation of an Atmosphere Entertainment MM/Mark Canton and Relativity Media production, stars Ryan Pinkston (Spy Kids 3, MTV's “Punk'd”), Kate Mara (Urban Legends), Craig Kilborn (Old School), John Carroll Lynch (The Drew Carey Show), Cynthia Stevenson (Agent Cody Banks) and Teri Polo (Meet the Fockers). The cast also includes Carmen Electra (Starsky & Hutch), Amanda Walsh (These Girls) and Josh Close (Twist).

The film is directed by Christian Charles from a screenplay by Jon Lucas & Scott Moore, based on a story by Yoni Berkovits & Tony Dreannan and Tom Gammill & Max Pross. The producers are Mark Canton and Steve Barnett and the executive producers are Relativity Media’s Ryan Kavanaugh and Lynwood Spinks, and Toby Emmerich, Matt Moore, Mark Kaufman, JC Spink and Charlie Goglak.

New Line Cinema will release Full of It (rated PG-13 by the M.P.A.A. for “sexual content, drug references, teen partying and crude humor”) in selected theaters on March 2nd, 2007.
